If Antibody Screen is positive, Antibody Identification, Titer and Antigen Typing will be performed at an additional charge (CPT code(s): 86870 (x) # of panel(s) performed, 86886 (x) # of titer(s) performed and 86905 (x) # of antigen typing(s). Based on reactions presenting from Antibody Identification, then 36668 – Direct Antiglobulin Test (DAT) with Reflex to Anti-C3 and Anti-IgG may be performed at an additional charge (CPT code(s): 86880). If 36668 – Direct Antiglobulin Test (DAT) is positive, then 36669 – Anti-C3 and Anti-IgG will be performed at an additional charge (CPT code(s): 86880 x2).
