As Chief Science Officer, Dr. Snyder spearheads Luxor Scientific’s research and scientific development programs. As author of more than 50 textbooks chapters, peer-reviewed articles, and published abstracts in the fields of analytical and clinical chemistry and toxicology, Dr. Snyder is recognized as a leader in the field of toxicology and medication compliance monitoring. Many of her published papers focus on improving the utility of toxicology testing in medication compliance monitoring.
Prior to Luxor Scientific, Dr. Snyder taught at Harvard University School of Medicine, and led the development of the first clinical toxicology laboratory employing definitive LC-MS/MS testing at the renowned Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. She oversaw technical operations of the Greenville (SC) Health System clinical laboratories and, most recently, served as President of a well-recognized national reference laboratory.
Dr. Snyder is fellowship trained in chemistry and toxicology at Emory Medical School and is Board Certified by the American Board of Clinical Chemistry. She holds and PhD in analytical chemistry from the University of South Carolina.
