As Scientific and Lab Director, Emily Ryan leads development and deployment of scientific solutions, and represents Luxor Scientific to the regulatory community. Dr. Ryan leads our integration of toxicology and pharmacogenetic results, focused on providing the most comprehensive clinical application in the industry.
Prior to Luxor Scientific Emily studied and taught at Emory University School of Medicine and led the redesign and activation of the Emory Serious Communicable Diseases Unit laboratory (Atlanta, GA) during the Ebola outbreak. She has worked with Genentech (Roche Group) in San Francisco, CA and, most recently, served as Scientific Director with specific responsibility for pharmacogenetics testing at a well-recognized national laboratory.
Dr. Ryan holds as BS degree in biochemistry/chemistry from the University of California, San Diego; and an MS degree in clinical research and a PhD degree in biochemistry and developmental biology from Emory University’s Langley Graduate School.
