As Director, Research and Development, Alicia leads the development of Luxor Scienific’s proprietary technology and methods. She is credited with developing the first rapid enzyme-clarified solid phase extraction and broad panel analysis in the toxicology industry.
Prior to Luxor Scientific Alicia taught analytical methods related to cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive and reproductive systems as well as blood vessel anatomy, hematology and urine analysis at the University of Massachusetts. She also developed toxicology confirmatory methods as Senior Medical Technologist at the renowned Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA and, most recently, served as Research and Development Director at a well-recognized national laboratory.
Alicia holds BS and MS degrees in clinical laboratory science from the University of Massachusetts.
